Ercol Butler table
(model number 457),
This light blonde wood has sculptured handle grips at each end, is light to carry yet strong to last. This particular table was made during the mid-century using elm wood for the trays and beech wood for the frame & tapered legs. There is a fitted rimmed tray under the table top. The table is in outstanding vintage condition with all joints and legs firm and strong. The ‘tiger’ graining of the elm wood on both trays is beautiful and very distinctive. It is quite a rare piece of furniture (in this condition), making it an alternative to the lighter 213 model coffee table.
